I've painted up the terrain I've built and am quite pleased with the results. I have 3 more modules ready for paint, for a total of 9.They are all just flat so far, so I think I may build some hills topped with steel paper onto 2 of the remaining ones.

| Painted 110mm steel modules |

| Self adhesive "felt" vinyl on the backs |

Very nice!

Haven't you received my packet yet? :(
Cheers,
They look great Javier. Hopefully I can send you the gaps in your collection ;)
ReplyDeleteVery nice set of boards
ReplyDeleteCan I ask what you used as the base material - card / metal / wood?
Andrew
Thanks Andrew. Each piece is a 110mm sheet steel square. I sand it a bit to rough it up then spray paint it with some undercoat, paint it with PVA and paint it. Lastly, I put a fake-felt backing onto each one with self-adhesive vinyl.
ReplyDeleteGreat work! You inspired me on getting some 6mm Sci-Fi Minis. The portability of this terrain is conveniant for storage of a more-than-one-evening campaign.
ReplyDeleteKeep the good work up!
Wow, very nice looking terrain! Good work! =)
